Citrix Virtual Desktop and Applications allows students, faculty and staff access to licensed applications from their personal devices.

Accessing Citrix

Visit:

https://vdi.uni.edu

and sign in using your CatID.

Important

Students: Have access to the Purple Desktop in Citrix and stand alone applications in the Apps tab. Access to additional apps/desktops is provided through faculty teaching their class.

Faculty: Will gain access to whichever application they request for their class.  SRS requests must be made in order to access the Purple Desktop.  For access to additional applications, request classroom use of Citrix Desktop and Applications.

Staff: Will need to complete a request using SRS.

Saving in Citrix 

Important

When you log off of a Citrix app or desktop environment, it is reset for the next person so all data will be wiped. Data can be saved temporarily, but should be saved to another location permanently, such as Google Drive.
